The lineup for the 2014 Sgt. Darren Cachola Music and Arts Festival was announced last night, and the Honolulu Police Department is really bringing out some big hitters to celebrate Darren Cachola, a sergeant who recently dodged a bullet, as they say on “the force.” Some are viewing this lineup as a mixtape to play along with a security video that shows Cachola repeatedly throwing his fist into his ex-girlfriend’s head and body and pinning her into a corner before continuing to sneak in a few more punches, something that Cachola’s attorney says she “essentially wanted.” The festival will take place at Kuni’s Restaurant and Lounge in Waipahu, where we hear the moshing isn’t only allowed, it’s encouraged.
